GEM Assignment 1

Architecture Exterior Day Shot - Brothers (Day)

Esplanade is one of the many famous landmarks in Singapore. To me they are like two brothers, working together to bring the audience an unforgettable experience. The technique used were the sky acting as negative space.

Architecture Exterior Night Shot - Brothers (Night)

Even at night, the Esplanade still stand out pretty much due to its explicit shape. Same as the first shot, the night sky act as the negative space.

Architecture Interior Day Shot - Light & Shadow (Day)

The bond between light and shadow will never break. As long as there's light, shadow will be formed. Repeated patterns resulted in the technique Rhythm.

Architecture Interior Night Shot - Light & Shadow (Night)

But without a single ray of light, there will never be shadows. The Rhythm of repeated patterns were still there.

Self Portrait - Evolution

Everyone undergoes evolution, so do I. It's a matter of fact whether you head towards the darkness or the light, or even both. By moving closer to the subject and placing it in the middle, I'm filling up the frame. There's negative space too.

Extreme Reflection

Last Sunday, I was working on my assignment at Marina Bay. I arrived in the afternoon, although my purpose of going there was to wait for the night to fall and take a shot of the Esplanade. *LOL*!

The shot didn't came out really well, but I guess I can't do much either (especially in the night without tripod).

Feeling disappointed, I tried snapping a few more times before I stop. Then something caught my attention, it was this interesting spherical objects that were lighted up in the midst of darkness, situated just outside the main entrance of Esplanade.

Not only they were reflected, even the trees and buildings too!

Disequilibrium Period

Nowadays, I don't really know what to blog about.

Judging by the number of days since my last post (exactly 2 weeks in fact), I seriously feel sorry for my blog. :(

It takes two hands to clap, and yet I neglect my important half. But I promise I'll be back, as of now please bear with me.

It all began recently, whereby I realised the time I spent on Facebook, studies and blogging is not in equilibrium anymore.

In other words, my poor time management habit is back again...
