The Moment Of Truth

Argh! The long awaited moment has finally arrived!

I woke up 8am in the morning, turned on my handphone immediately, few seconds later this message popped out.

Mechatronics! Oh man...I'm slightly disappointed, didn't get into the course I want, and it was my 6th choice! Aiya, my score can't make it, what can I expect?

Hopefully things turn out well for me :)

Sky Park At Vivo City

Recently I was having a great time at Vivo City.

Not only that the newly opened shopping mall was huge, there's even a Sky Park right at the upper level.

Poor thing, hanging up there sweating like a pig.

And yeah, I almost dehydrated due to the sunny weather. The heat was just too overwhelming.

Lots of shipping were going on here.

But that's not going to stop me from doing some sightseeing.

Cable cars leading tourists to Sentosa.

Anyway, my trip doesn't end just like that! :)

Missing In Action

I'm sorry for not updating, been getting too much BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death) lately. Getting a new CPU is my only hope and of course, I will get back as soon as possible :)

My GCE O-Level Result

I'm back again to post my results.

I got A1, B3, C6, D7 = 1367, can buy 4D!

L1R2B2 = 22

Got no idea how I get 3 C6, even though I'm expecting a B4 at least. I was expecting to get a C5 for my E-Math but instead a B3...

In overall, my results wasn't good enough. Now I'm having problems answering those Uncles and Aunties about how well I scored, to make matters worse, there's still Chinese New Year to go! *Sob*

That's it. I have to keep moving forward.

Bookshop 20

I experienced, realised and found out a total of 20 items while working in the school bookshop.

#1
Perhaps only 4 out of 10 people are willing to accept a $3/hour pay job.

#2
The attitude of some student sucks big time.

#3
A student scold me idiot in chinese, which is 白痴!

#4
A few Secondary One students called me Uncle...

#5
"School Of Choice" is an example of a "black market". Pay coffee for $5, pay Yearbook for $10, pay school planner for $3 and pay a undesirable Funfair for $50 (all compulsory). Why does a NEIGHBORHOOD school need to go to such an extent?

#6
Some teachers love to play politics, they can't be offended.

#7
Some teachers borrowed money from the bookshop and never return it back, one of them owned up to a hundred dollars!

#8
Can you believe a financially assisted person whose parents owned a seven seater (Multi-Purpose-Vehicle)? What a ridiculous fact!

#9
A parent once asked me "Does this school give free shoe?"

#10
It is my first time savoring every spoonful of food in the canteen during curriculum time, wearing home clothes.

#11
Heard stories about the darker side of the school and its office...

#12
A particular D&T teacher lost the whole class D&T textbooks, worse thing is he/she never holds any responsibility to it!

#13
I hate taking orders, it was such a fussing and time-wasting task.

#14
Quite a number of students didn't support (buy textbooks from outside) the bookshop.

#15
Many new teachers...lesser experienced teachers.

#16
The whole family turned up when only ONE person buying textbooks.

#17
The staff room was extended in order to accumulate the number of teachers.

#18
I sat on the Vice-Principal chair. And I act as one! (just kidding)

#19
"School Of Choice" is now Centre Of Excellence for Design and Technology. *LOL*

#20
Why do I love "School Of Choice"? Because the environment is windy! Other than friends, that seems to be the only reason.

Nature Bald

Not only that the tree is "bald", it also looks kinda creepy to me.

The branches especially, seems to take in the shape of our fingers.

Really, I'm not bluffing at all.

A New Sneaker For A New Year

I started off the year 2009 wandering around AMK (Ang Mo Kio) Hub.

Initially I wanted to stay at home and sleep to my fullest, but my parents insist that I need some new clothes and shoe for the upcoming Chinese New Year.

So I slouch all the way there.

As this is my first time going to AMK Hub (sorry I'm a country bumpkin), it is understandable for my curiousness about what's special about this shopping center.

Here is what I found out :

#1
AMK Hub was way full of fashionable wear shops! From teenager's wear to men's jeans, you will definitely find the one that suits your choice.

#2
The bus interchange is just right next to AMK Hub, they are directly connected.

After slouching around AMK Hub for a few hours, my loot was this Converse sneakers costing at about $64 after a 15% discount.

Converse FTW!

2009

Right now, 2008 is history.

It's time to get over the past and move on to yet another brand new year, 2009!

As far as I know, I do not have the habit of setting resolutions for every brand new year.

Since I make it through the year 2008 with zero resolutions, I guess I'll do the same for year 2009 too! It's the start of my Poly life and also saying goodbye to my Secondary school life.

Pretty sad though, but that's life and what I've to do is just follow the cycle and keep moving forward...
