I experienced, realised and found out a total of 20 items while working in the school bookshop.
#1Perhaps only 4 out of 10 people are willing to accept a $3/hour pay job.
#2The attitude of some student sucks big time.
#3A student scold me idiot in chinese, which is 白痴!
#4A few Secondary One students called me Uncle...
#5"School Of Choice" is an example of a "black market". Pay coffee for $5, pay Yearbook for $10, pay school planner for $3 and pay a undesirable Funfair for $50 (all compulsory). Why does a NEIGHBORHOOD school need to go to such an extent?
#6Some teachers love to play politics, they can't be offended.
#7Some teachers borrowed money from the bookshop and never return it back, one of them owned up to a hundred dollars!
#8Can you believe a financially assisted person whose parents owned a seven seater (Multi-Purpose-Vehicle)? What a ridiculous fact!
#9A parent once asked me "Does this school give free shoe?"
#10It is my first time savoring every spoonful of food in the canteen during curriculum time, wearing home clothes.
#11Heard stories about the darker side of the school and its office...
#12A particular D&T teacher lost the whole class D&T textbooks, worse thing is he/she never holds any responsibility to it!
#13I hate taking orders, it was such a fussing and time-wasting task.
#14Quite a number of students didn't support (buy textbooks from outside) the bookshop.
#15Many new teachers...lesser experienced teachers.
#16The whole family turned up when only ONE person buying textbooks.
#17The staff room was extended in order to accumulate the number of teachers.
#18I sat on the Vice-Principal chair. And I act as one! (just kidding)
#19"School Of Choice" is now Centre Of Excellence for Design
and Technology. *LOL*
#20Why do I love "School Of Choice"? Because the environment is windy! Other than friends, that seems to be the only reason.
